The European Finance Association Annual Meetings attracts over 750 renowned financial economists from top business schools and universities from all around the world. In a highly competitive selection process, a committee of track chairs and reviewers from the best universities chooses around 240 papers for presentation from more than 1,900 submissions. This stringent selection process ensures the excellence and the high quality of the research presented at the conference.
The conference hosts 80 sessions over three days, and serves as the venue for the EFA General Assembly. The conference also hosts two events for PhD students: the Doctoral Tutorial and Doctoral Workshop. These are closed events. The conference comprises several social events, which are excellent networking platforms.
The EFA Annual Meeting is held by a different university each year. Nova School of Business & Economics is proud to host the 46th EFA Annual Meeting at the newly built campus in Carcavelos (Lisbon, Portugal), 21-24, August 2019.
